The Siloam Eye Hospital was established February 17, 1986 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the advent of Christianity into Korea.

With our highly-trained staff of 11 doctors and specialists, 25 nurses and 40 administrative personnel, the Siloam Eye Hospital is devoted to providing first-rate medical care to ease the plight of the blind and visually impaired.

In the spirit of Christ’s
love we are dedicated to help bring the light to the visually handicapped- administering free treatment and preventive care as well as free eye surgery as a work of medical missions.

Our mission is to reach out to the 200,000 blind and 5 million visually impaired living in Korea as well as our less fortunate brothers suffering in Third-World countries.
