SILOAM INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH

“Siloam will Lead the Way”
Raising Medical Standards & Social Awareness.

OVERVIEW

From our earliest days the Siloam Eye Hospital has sought to send out a medical staff for medical missions overseas to developing countries to help combat blindness and perform eyesight recovery operations. We have been providing free eye examinations and treatment, sharing medical expertise, and
support for infrastructure assisting the blind to 14 neighboring countries, like China, the Philippines, Tanzania, Uzbekistan, among many other countries.

Additionally, we have been extending invitations and sponsoring doctors & nurses from partner hospitals overseas for 2-3 week Siloam International Ophthalmology Training program. Visiting our Siloam Eye Hospital in Seoul in person to observe eye operations,
transfer advanced medical technology, and learn operating theory training, to enhance our ophthalmology field capabilities.

For our outreach to be truly successful we believe it is vital for medical personnel and hospitals in our neighboring countries to gain expertise from our specialists and also receive the latest medical equipment that they might perform the latest procedures
successfully themselves. To this end we have also been donating various medical equipment to each of these affiliated hospitals.
